THE SEIZE OF GRACE BROUGHT IN THIS EASE - I got the full length of God's divine breath of life

Yes! The devil came and his game is to steal,
To make our hearts as hardened as the man of steel,
Christ died on the cross, yet in Christ there's life still,
Come to him for life and don't keep standing still

The seas may rage but God authors the cease,
The Cs will upgrade if your faith eye dare sees,
Disease cured by stripes; even death was deceased,
The seize of grace is what indeed has brought in this ease
.
Power from the cross; the cross on the hill,
On the cross, there is victory through Christ's broken heel,
Ageless stripes through the ages still meant for the ill,
The blood still flows, our diseases to heal
.
I got the full length of God's divine breath of life,
The area of this life is what keeps me alive,
I'm free indeed from the perimeter of strife;
I now got the Spirit's sword to counter Satan's knife
.
Shouts of great victory is all that I scream,
My mouth is full of sweetness from God's divine ice cream,
Joy in the Holy Ghost validates my high scream,
'Cos the veil has been cleared off by God's divine eyes cream.

HE STOPPED THE STINGS OF DEATH'S THREAT - Prince of Peace at war from birth

Prince of Peace at war from birth,
Put on a body to house death,
And stopped the stings of death's threat,
As his breath diffused through out the earth

Definitely was born to win,
Born sinless but became sin,
And picked us out of the law's bin;
He freed us without and within
.
Carried that old rugged cross,
And got all our Ts crossed,
Life ticked; death cancelled; crossed,
'Cos my genes with God's crossed
.
Dotted my Is and crossed my Ts,
Opened my eyes; sugared my tea,
Made devil's fall so mighty
I call him God; the Almighty,
.
As his strength diminished,
His mouth proclaimed, ''It is finished'';
Sin's fire is extinguished,
With death abolished, we're distinguished
.
sin's yoke is the annoying thing,
Broken by the anointing;
Left void by law; a null thing
Till Grace set in to change the setting.

ALL ABOUT LOVE - to all my friends

TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE MARRIED:
Love is not about “it’s your fault”, but “I’m sorry”, not “where are you’ but “I’m right here”, not “how could you” but “I understand”, not “I wish you were”, but “I’m thankful you are.”

TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE ENGAGED:
The true measure of compatibility is not the years spent together but how good you are for each other.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE NOT SO SINGLE:
Love isn’t about becoming somebody else’s “perfect person.” It’s about finding someone who helps you become the best person you can be.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE HEARTBROKEN:
Heartbreaks last as long as you want and cut deep as you allow them to go. The challenge is not how to survive heartbreaks but to learn from them.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE NAIVE (How to be in love):
Fall but don’t stumble, be consistent but not too persistent, share and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand, and get hurt but never keep the pain.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE SEARCHING:
True love cannot be found where it does not truly exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does. Love is magic. The more we hide it, the more it shows; the more you suppress it, the more it grows.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE POSSESSIVE:
It breaks your heart to see the one you love happy with someone else but it’s more painful to know that the one you love is unhappy with you.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE AFRAID TO CONFESS:
Love hurts when you break up with someone. It hurts even more when someone breaks up with you. But love hurts the most when the person you love has no idea how you feel.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE STILL HOLDING ON:
A sad thing about life is that when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be, we just have to let go.
.
TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE SINGLE:
Love is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it eludes you. But if you just let it fly, it would come to you when you least expect it.

THE BREVITY OF LIFE - time is long but life is short; one life; a little gleam of time between two eternities

If you were to know the day of your death, you would be 'wise' unto quick and thrifty dying minutes preparations; but oh no! The date is hid from your eyes. So that your destiny does not depend on a sudden crafty grab; but on a well-considered purposeful choice.

The largest room in the world is the room for improvement; Don't just exist but live. Leave out the talk and live out the work. You can't climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pocket
.
''I will go anywhere provided it is forward'' - David Livingstone
.
''I know there is a reward for pressing forward. I reckon with these four words, ''I've Gone Past Backwards'' - samkleezy
.
''To reach the port, we must sail, sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it, but we must sail and not drift or lie at anchor'' - Oliver Wendell Holmes
.
''One life; - a little gleam of time between two eternities'' - Thomas Carlyle
.
The brevity of life should make us quicken our duty. We should be concerned with redeeming time and improving opportunities. When as a child, I laughed and wept - Time crept. When as a youth, I dreamt and talked - Time walked. When I became a full-grown man - Time ran. Then as with the years, I older grew - Time flew. Soon, I shall find as I travel on - Time gone. Ensure you make progress as time progresses
.
''Oh God, give us serenity to accept what cannot be changed, the courage to change what could be changed, and wisdom to distinguish one from the other'' - Reinhold Niebuhr
.
We must so number our days as to compare our work with them, and mind it accordingly with a double diligence, as those that have no time to trifle.

MOTHERHOOD - That child you threw away could have been the best thing that happened to you in life

Oh mothers! You are the source of life to us; the fountain from where we rolled in to be quickened into a living soul. The whole world calls you the precious gold of an inestimable value, and indeed you are [Prov 31: 10]

Oh mothers! You feed us with your natural milk that made us live above all forms of sicknesses and diseases. You wrapped us up when cold, fed us when hungry and kept us clean, dry and warm at all times.
.
Oh mothers! You alone understand us better than any other being. You know what we need whenever we cry. ''O my baby'' yells your bowels. You wake up earlier than anybody to take care of us [Prov 31: 15]
.
Oh mothers! You make us feel responsible as you listen to our new ideas. You care to know about our inner feelings. You mind to share in our personal struggles
.
A real mother is known by the rare but selfless virtues which she manifests. She is a nurse, a teacher, an instructor, an architect, a counselor, a guide or trainer and a home manager. She is indeed the sunshine of the home, lightening all within her domain. She stands out as the life-line of the family, full of strength and courage to fight every battle. She is full of compassion, love and mercy; selfless in her service.
.
Truly, a mother plays a very active role in the life of every member of the family. Her influence has a far-reaching effect; she is a determining factor for the joy, peace, happiness and progress of the entire family. The impact she wields on the children is very great; whether it is positively or negatively. It is not out of place to say then, that the woman is the person behind the ''steering wheel'' of the husband and children at home. She tactically directs and controls the entire atmosphere of the home. The husband for sure remains the head but the wife's the neck that turns the head.
.
''The mother's love is like God's love; He loves us not because we are lovable, but because it is his nature to love, and because we are his children'' - Earl Riney
.
You don't want to be that callous woman who aborts that unwanted pregnancy or throws away that little baby into the pit or maltreats the child as a carry-over of your husband's offence to you. You don't want to just gallivant about places while that little infant is pushed into the boarding house with no personal attention given to him. Don't be too concerned about your shape as to say, ''No breast-feeding of any child, I must keep my figure!''.
.
That child you threw away could have been the best thing that happened to you in life. Why not become a little more patient with that teenage child of yours, praying and believing God for the best? Why not change your lethargic and hard stance towards your children? There is something you can do to make that child live and live well; only a mother's heart can discover that thing and fulfill it.

REDEEMING THE TIME - time flys; How much time have you left?

Seconds roll into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into weeks, weeks into months and years keep slipping on. Thank God for life. But how time flies!

Time is one of the greatest life assets given to us by God, to use as we choose. We don't choose to have time; it is the exclusive prerogative of God to make time available to us.
.
How much time have you left! I believe you know that time can never be hoarded. It must be spent as it is given to you. No one has more than enough to spare. You cannot tell how much time is left for you to spend. The Omniscient God; the sole giver of time; He alone knows. Wisdom is therefore justified of all men. [''See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is'' - Eph 5: 15 - 17]
.
Life, long or short, ought to be well spent. Once the silver cod is broken and man goes to his eternal home, he is scarcely remembered but for his deeds. The deed of kindness: lending of a helping hand to others, caring for widows and fatherless, giving words of comfort to the grieved, meeting just needs - food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, cloth for the naked, care to the sick, succour to the forsaken - being eyes to the blind and feet to the lame will always be remembered long when a person is forgotten.
.
At the end of a well spent life, the many lives that have been touched, the investment made in others and impact made in God's kingdom will linger on. A life worth living cares about others, dares for others and shares with others. Make it a life's purpose to be a 'helper of people's joy'; make others happy and successful. When at the end of your life's journey here on earth and others recall the role you have played in their lives, what would you be remembered for? Good or evil.
.
What have you accomplished in your short or long sojourn here on earth? Have you discovered the purpose of living yet? Or, are your years wasted and full of regrets? Have you settled the all-important issue of life after death; are you saved and sure you are saved?

THE GIRL CHILD IS AN ASSET IN YOUR HAND - A well managed girl grows to become a young woman, loving wife and a caring mother.

As Mr. Kenny entered his office complex that morning, a chorus of ''congratulations sir, congratulations sir'', filled the air. Everybody knew what this meant to him, and they were happy for him.

He had endured such a long wait for Mary, his wife, to give him a baby boy. It has not been easy though. What with all the pressure he had to contend with amongst his friends and especially his relations - a development that has caused a lot of strain in their marriage of over twelve years.
.
When the first issue came and turned out to be a girl, kenny's family had threatened fire and brimstone, that Mary having a female child as the first issue was an affront to their wealthy and aristocratic family. Their family, they claimed, are known for having male children. If any of them has a female child at all, it is normally one, and almost always as the last child.
.
Mary, anxious to please her in-laws and keep her home, began to run from pillar to post. People came forward to proffer solutions to her 'problem'. After she tried all kinds of suggestions to aid her having a boy but still ended with a second girl, she resigned herself to God. She threw away all concoction and decided to focus on God. The third issue came, yet a girl, but she was not perturbed. She reasoned that God must have a purpose for giving her these girls. Although she wished she had a boy to please her husband, she was no longer unduly agitated. The home became turbulent, with Kenny having bouts of temper, but her new found faith and confidence in God kept her on. Now the Lord has looked down on her and given her a male child to please her husband.
.
God never makes a mistake. The choice of your child's gender is not human but divine. And there is no indication of subordination of one sex to the other creation. The tiny baby girl in your hand is an asset of inestimable value. But then, that depends on the way you handle her. Like an egg, when allowed to hatch, it develops into a hen that in turn produces many more chicks; but if mishandled and it pricks prematurely, then, you lose a great asset. A well managed girl grows to become a young woman, loving wife and a caring mother.

MAKING POSITIVE IMPACT - we can change the world

Take time to look around you and you'll see people in pain, distress and sorrow. You'd see a lot hurting but concealing their aches and pains with frosty smiles, heavy make-up and artificial gait. You'd see people roaming the streets hopelessly and helplessly - their faces contorted with sadness and their heads bowed with feelings of guilt, shame, disappointment, worthlessness, dejection and despair. You'd see people with bleary eyes and knotted chest, crying silently but trying to choke back the tears.

The fact is, despite the glitter and glamour the world promises to offer, its people are in want. Even the rich suffer from the feeling of emptiness gnawing them within. They feel incomplete and unfulfilled. There's a void in the lives of many - a void you can help fill! It might be a spiritual need - the search for freedom from the shackles of sin; or an emotional need - the need for wise counsel to solve a painful puzzle or mend a broken heart. It might be a financial need or any other kind of desire which people need someone to help them fulfil.
.
LOOK AROUND to see distress signals indicating the presence and patterns of voids to be filled
.
LOOK IN to check your resources and potentials and ascertain what you can do to help the needy
.
LOOK OUT to find the means by which you may deploy your resources to help humanity for their temporal and eternal good
.
God could use you to meet someone's needs if you will let him. Some steps are summarized below.
.
1. Surrender your life to Christ and be born again. Consequently, you will experience a transformation in character, attitude and disposition [2 Corin 5: 17]. Charles Warner says ''No one can sincerely try to help another without helping himself''
.
2. Consider the people around you whom you've neglected or hurt in time past; shun selfishness as you willingly pour yourself out for their good
.
3. Recognize that life is not what one has but what one gives out. Learn to consider the needs of others and share what you have. You should offer specific help to others working to realize their own dreams
.
4. Give people attention, affirmation and appreciation. Anytime you make contact with people, you should begin by giving them your undivided attention during the first thirty seconds and affirm them and show appreciation to them in some way as well as say something encouraging.
.
5. Learn to empathize with people as occasion demands
.
6. Be courteous, friendly and avoid unwholesome criticisms.
.
7. Be prayerful, diligently seeking God and doing what pleases him always
.
There is only one life to live; and it will soon be over! But what our lives impact upon others - for good or bad - will endure.

THE PRE-EMINENCE OF LOVE

What is LOVE? It's silence when your words would hurt and patience when your neighbours curt, deafness when the scandal flows and thoughtfulness for another's woes, promptness when a stern duty calls and courage when misfortune falls; slow to suspect but quick to trust, slow to condemn but quick to justify, slow to offend but quick to defend, slow to expose but quick to shield, slow to reprimand but quick to forbear, slow to demand but quick to give, slow to provoke but quick to pacify, slow to hinder but quick to help, slow to resent but quick to forgive. [1 corin 13: 4, 5]

Being loved is the second best thing in the world while loving someone is the best. When you love, you do yourself a favour; for you open floodgates of love from others to you. Hatred or a feeling of revenge does more harm to the hater than the hated. This is because the hater bears alone the tearing within, of a deep-seated, untreated wound everywhere he/she goes.
.
Life is short. The brevity of time leaves no room for man to harbour hatred or bad blood for past hurts; past is past. Let go and let God have his way. You have just a single life, and it's held by a string of love, strengthened or weakened by you, and you alone. A healthy life is founded on good deeds, floodlight of love and flushes of forgiveness, so that the heart remains free from hatred and the blood free from bitterness.
.
God is love and love is life. God has made love cheap yet many can't afford it; just a little smile, a little deed of kindness, a little patience and tolerance with one another, a little tuning of the mind off others' misdeeds. Yet, for no just cause, man chooses to do otherwise, which makes life remain worthless. To choose God is to choose love. To choose love is to choose life. Then, love is the greatest of all [1 corin 13: 13]. We are enjoined to love our neighbour but, we don't have to agree to any of his/her errors or ungodly ideas, because love rejoices only in the truth [ 1 corin 13: 6]

HE SOUGHT ME WHEN I WAS TOO BROKE TO PAY ATTENTION

Satan was the thief that got my heart stolen
Yet, I ain't a goner 'cos God's love is my arsenal,
Sin was in me till flushed out by the God in me;
Rather than piss God off, all I did was piss off sin

Satan was the tailor that left me in stitches,
The ruthless comedian that turned my life a joke,
An evil player that turned life a game,
But like a rat with a mic, he's just a loud speaker
.
Jesus sought me when I was too broke to pay attention,
Snatched me from hell's trick city and put Satan in shock,
Restructured my Chemistry and now I'm in love with God,
The bees are jealous 'cos he calls me honey
.
Christ as my pastor has made my life a sermon;
An epistle of grace based on Yahweh's own ways,
He's a true programmer; made me righteousness coded;
Bed of roses called grace helps me slip into God's dreams
.
I was just like math with a lot of problems
Till Christ's divine chemistry showed me solutions,
God as my chef turned me sweet smelling savour,
He'll keep cooking up good stuff till the day life is done.

BE YOUR SPOUSE'S FRIEND AND DO THOSE LITTLE THINGS THAT BUILD INTIMACY FOR EACH OTHER

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now. The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request. I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
.
My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.
.
On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce. At least, in the eyes of our son - I’m a loving husband. The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

HE SWEPT MY FLAWS AWAY - my life's been turned around as a living fan of Christ

Adam birth the real sin which cut us with a bent knife,
Christ birth the real scene meant to make us his wife,
Christ's breath is the reason for the length of my life,
From death, he has risen; my shielding tent from strife

When I was a great fool, he did me great good,
When I was ungrateful, indeed remained the great God,
Honey from the rock is who he will always bee,
So perfect in the ways he keeps perfecting my ways
.
Yesterday, yes! Today and forever he's the greatest,
He's always in control; gives the grace to quench this great thirst,
Our living faith's in him; makes us winners over great tests,
We're living epistles; aroma of Christ with great taste
.
His heel was broken on the hill to heal us from death,
Drank our cup of tea called death to cross our Ts with new birth,
With the seas of sin deceased through the cease of disease on earth,
The high scream I scream is due to the life's ice cream I get
.
My life's been turned around as a living fan of Christ,
He swept my flaws away seiling me with the spirit,
Powdered me with favour now my life got a new phase,
The cream of grace that bleaches life has made life fair to me.

ROMEO AND JULIET versus GRANDPA AND GRANDMA - get inspired

It's a man's responsibility to provide for the home; in fact the last time a woman did, they were both kicked out of the garden of Eden (on the lighter side though). Brethren, make money before ''thinking'' of women. Even in the bible, (Job) comes before (Romans). You find some graduates bragging that they can't do some jobs just because they got a degree. Just to remind you, a thermometer has got 100 degrees, yet it works under armpits. Stay humble

The point is that prior proper preparation prevents poor performance. [''He who swallows a complete coconut must have absolute trust in his anus'' - MUGABE]. Focusing on how it begins at the expense of how it ends is like insulting the big mouth of the crocodile when you haven't finished crossing the river. True Love isn't Romeo and Juliet who died Together but Grandma and Grandpa who grew up together.
.
As ladies, don't be casted in (Acts) of spreading your legs like rumours because of the (Judges) he bought you or the fact that, ''he can make me ride (Micah)''. As guys, it's not all about her (Luke) and (Esther). [''Virginity is (one of) the best wedding gifts any man would receive from his newly wed wife but lately, there’s nothing as such any longer because it’ll have already been given out as a Birthday gift, token of Appreciation, Job assurance, Church collection, Examination marking schemes and for Lorry fares!” - MUGABE]. Who says husbands no more appreciate virginity as a gift. If you aren't a virgin any more, whether as a guy or as a lady, you can still make chastity a packaged gift to your spouse. Talking about the time for being chaste, the time starts now irrespective of being a male or a female. The time to prepare is now.
.
[''We are living in a generation where people 'in love' are free to touch each others' private parts but cannot touch each others' phones because they're 'private'” - MUGABE]. Celebration of continuous love isn't without a price. Whether guy or lady; trust, openness, partnership, tolerance and tenacity are gifts you can package for your spouse. Work on yourself to be just right for your partner. Remember how it all ends matters much. Guage the level of your preparation. If you take the low battery warning on your phone seriously, then better take this warning on preparation seriously too. To be fore warned is to be fore-armed. Don't let your lack of preparation promote divorce.

I LOVE THE WAY YOU LOVE ME - seen no better lover Like the great Jehovah

I was a sinner
With Adamic ginger;
With my spirit leaner,
My soul was meaner

Jesus took me inner
And made me cleaner,
Turned me a winner;
Testimony singer
.
Seen no better lover
Like the great jehovah,
Secured biggest cover;
Makes my joy run over
.
Love the way you love us;
Grace roves over us,
Mercy covers us
As hope drives us like the boss
.
Love the way you love me;
Your grace set me free,
Mercy opened my eye to see
That you've calmed my raging sea

MOVE OF THE SPIRIT - finding Jesus

The revelation of the flesh
May seem fresh,
The revelation from blood
May look like God's word

Moses caught a revelation,
Rhema filled introduction;
The might of God
Packaged in a rod
.
Joshua didn't need a rod;
Was introduced to the Word,
Following the Spirit flow
Is what makes your feet glow
.
Not by activity
But connectivity;
Not just by zeal
But God's presence so real
.
Who is Christ to you;
Call him John the baptist too?
Maybe Elijah;
Or you call him Jeremiah?
.
Perception from God's creatures,
Not all got God's signature;
God's no author of confusion,
He's still 'I AM' in all dimensions.

PEACE OF MIND - short story

A farmer lost his watch in the barn. After searching for a long while, he enlisted the help of a group of children playing outside the barn. He promised the finder would be rewarded. Hearing this, the children hurriedly started an ultimate search. They found no watch.

Just when the farmer was about to give up the search, a little boy went up to him and asked to be given another chance. The farmer looked at him and thought, “Why not?” After a while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand!
.
The farmer was both happy and surprised; he asked the boy how he succeeded. The boy replied, “I did nothing but sat on the ground and listened. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and just looked for it in that direction.”
.
A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind. Sometimes the noise in our life is so much with no clarity on what to do. The mind seems so occupied with lots of thoughts that promote fear, discouragement & anxiety. Let peace guard your heart all the time. Consciously clear your head and mind; be patient and listen.

.
If you want peace, stop fighting. If you want peace of mind, stop fighting with your thoughts - Peter McWilliams. Don't let other people hold the key to your peace of mind. Why worry? Make peace of mind your priority.

THE MIRACULOUS IS LINKED TO THE RIDICULOUS

The miraculous is linked to the ridiculous;
When your hope sees red, remember God parts the red seas,
With jeer echoes of praise, pull down Jericho walls;
God's miracles are possible and very plausible

.
The miraculous is linked to the ridiculous;
A man with no arms; yet Christ says stretch out your arms,
Abraham had no child but was named father of nations,
They needed wine for party but Christ says, ''serve guests with water''
.
The miraculous is linked to the ridiculous;
Miracles and instructions; spiritual directions,
As simple as it sounds; makes your next level sound;
Don't resist the Spirit; just obey when he spills it.
.
Yes! Just OBEY - Obedience Breaks Every Yoke,
If he tells you to PRAY - Prayer Removes Every Yoke,
Wants you to trust in his GRACE - God's Riches At Christ's Expense,
Wants you rooted in this FAITH - First Abide In Trusting Him
.
Tells you to walk in LOVE - Love Opens Veiled Expressions,
Speaks through the BIBLE - Blessed Info Brings Life Eternal,
His MERCY - Elevates & Readily Complements You,
Don't forget HOPE - Hold On; Press Endlessly.

FALLING IN LOVE VERSUS STAYING IN LOVE

Love doesn't guarantee the success of a relationship. Love cannot help you stick to one person all year round; cheating isn't always a product of not loving your partner. Loving someone doesn't guarantee not falling in love with someone else. Relationships work out mostly because of our head not our heart. It works out because of our emotional maturity, empathetic intelligence and self discipline because, time will come when you'll see more beautiful, handsome, romantic, intelligent, sexy, rich, curvy and God fearing people than the one you're in a relationship with.

.
In those times, love will not help you; self control will, emotional intelligence will come to your rescue and commitment will keep you going. With those characteristics, no matter how you feel for someone else, the person you're committed to will rank first in your life. Happily married people see better people than the ones they married, and catch strange feelings at times, but understanding that commitment is greater than feelings is the great arsenal that destroys that impulse.
.
You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them and takes more than love. We are fond of loving when it's convenient and sweet. When the emotional feelings drop, After then, you'll realize that it's your responsibility to make the relationship work and not Love's responsibility. Relationships cannot be ready made. You have to build it and it's never always just about feelings of love, but commitment and intelligence. On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever; it's determination and commitment.
.
Everyone falls in love but as for staying in love? Building a relationship? Only the strong and committed ones do that. That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, discipline yourself and bridle your emotions. Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career. It's like pursuing a dream. It's always tough; at some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together; you can scale through the trying time by being focused and committed. The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together. Be emotionally strong and be self disciplined. Sticking to one person is not natural, you must develop yourself to do that. It works great and perfect with people of like minds, people of the same beliefs and people that share the same school of thought.

Little drops of water make a mighty ocean; the journey of a thousand miles begin with a step. The winning stroke of a swimmer is the last of multiple successive strokes. .
TEACHER: If I give you one apple and one apple & one apple, how many apples will you have?
EGGISTU: (confidently) Four
TEACHER: (disappointed) listen carefully. If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

EGGISTU: Three
TEACHER: (happy that her approach had succeeded) Good!! Now if I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple how many will you have?”
EGGISTU: Four!”

EGGISTU: (In a voice that was low and hesitating) Because I already have one apple in my bag.
.
When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you are expecting, it is not necessarily they are wrong. There may be an angle that we may not have understood at all. We need to learn to appreciate and understand different perspectives. Quite often, we try and impose our perspectives on others and then wonder what went wrong. The next time someone gives you a different perspective than yours, sit down and gently ask "Can you please help me understand?".

A VERY BIG GOD - short story

Two men went fishing. One was an experienced fisherman, the other wasn't. Everytime the experienced fisherman caught a big fish, he put it in his ice chest to keep it fresh. Whenever the inexperienced fisherman caught a big fish, he threw it back.

.
The experienced fisherman watched this go on all day and finally got tired of seeing the man waste good fish. 'Why do you keep throwing back all the big fish you catch?' he asked.The inexperienced fisherman replied, 'I only have a small frying pan.'
.
Sometimes, like that fisherman, we throw back the big plans, big dreams, big jobs, big opportunities that God gives us when our faith is too small. Before laughing at this fisherman who didn't figure out that all he needed was a bigger frying pan, how ready are we to increase the size of our faith?
.
Whether it's a problem or a possibility, God will never give you anything bigger than you can handle.That means we can confidently walk into anything God brings our way.You can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13 .) Nothing is too big for God, so stop telling God you've got big problems; tell your problems you've got a BIG GOD!
