SHAKE IT OFF AND TAKE A STEP UP - Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well-like pit. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
.
.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement it quieted down.
.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the pit. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit its back, the donkey was doing something amazing. It would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
.
MORAL : Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest pits just by not stopping and never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

DOES GOD REALLY EXIST? - the barber story

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed, as the barber began to work, they started a good conversation; they talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched the subject of God, the barber said, “I don’t believe that God exists.” “Why do you say that?” asked the customer. The barber said, “Well you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t exist; Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.”
.
.
The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barber shop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard; He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and said to the barber, “You know what? Barbers do not exist.” "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am a barber, and I just worked on you!” “No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don't exist because if they do, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.” The barber said, “Ah, but barbers DO exist, what happens is, people don't come to me.”
.
“Exactly”- affirmed the customer, “That’s the point.” God too, DOES exist; what happens is, people don’t go to Him and do not look for him. GOD DOES EXIST!!!

A MOTHER'S HEART - not every lady has a mother's heart

Sadhu Sundar Singh passed a crowd of people putting out a jungle fire at the foot of the Himalayas. Several men however were standing, gazing at a tree, the branches of which were already alight. 'What are you looking at?' he asked. They pointed to a nest of young birds in the tree. Above it, a bird was flying wildly to and fro in great distress. The men said. 'We wish we could save that nest but the fire prevents us from getting near it.' A few minutes later, the nest caught fire. The Sadhu thought the mother bird would fly away. But no! She flew down, spread her wings over the young ones, and in few minutes was burnt to ashes with them.
.
.
A woman with a baby on her back was running away from a bush that caught fire. She was not fast enough and the fire caught up with her. Oh! The baby must not die. She frantically dug a hole with her bare hands, put the baby inside, slept on the baby and in no time was burnt by fire.
.
It was a time of war in Korea and a pregnant woman was running for her dear life, trying to escape from the North to the South. Labour pains came on her and there on the field, covered with snow, she bent herself and had her baby. She was thinly clad but didn't want the baby to die. She removed whatever dress was on her to wrap the little baby. The snow was too much for the naked woman and shortly later, she died. The child did survive. A missionary couple heard him crying as they passed by the field, and took him up into their home to care for him.
.
A man once said to his wife, ''That child must be left to die on the dunghill and not brought into the house again. The herbalist said he is a curse to the family. If you bring the child in again, then you will have to go. The choice is yours.'' perhaps he has his reasons. Since this child was born, it has been one sickness or the other. Sometimes he would faint or go into coma; and when all hope is given up, he is thrown into the dunghill. Afterwards, a faint cry would be heard and the mother would rush to take him into her embrace again to nurture the life still in him. Well, the father was fed up of the repeated antics of this curse. His purse had been drained by this constant attack, hence his refusal to give the boy another chance.
.
It was in the night and rain had started falling. The mother strained her ears and heard a faint cry. Out she went and picked up the boy, so happy he was still alive. There was only one option left for this woman - to leave her matrimonial home. It was a traumatic experience that spanned through many years of struggle, but she took care of the child and he became a preacher of the gospel.
.
Many mothers there are who go hungry just to get some food for their children. Many are ready to deny themselves of good clothing, delicacies, entertainment, opportunities, privileges and whatever it takes to get the best for their children in terms of education, health, feeding and other necessities of life. The child must live and live well, that seems to be their goal in life. Although sadly enough, not every lady has a mother's heart. The category you fall in is your choice

THE ROD AND REPROOF GIVE WISDOM - No woman whose child had derailed can have a true sense of fulfilment.

Mrs. Magnus heard the sound of the judge's gravel as he pronounced judgement. It was like a dagger directed at her heart. ''Ten years imprisonment,'' he intoned.
.
.
She hung her head and remained still. Infact, she had sat through the entire court proceedings like one in a trance. No emotion showed on her face but her heart was in turmoil. She hardly heard the lawyers as they argued their case. She kept asking herself over and over,''how did I get here?'' If she were to answer the question, she would have said that the journey to that courtroom began three months ago when her husband's phone rang and he was told that their only son was held in detention for alleged involvement in cult activities and armed robbery. ''There must be a mistake,'' she had said to her husband when the news got to them. But she was proved wrong. Then began the endless trips to the police station, the lawyer's office and the court. She never believed it will ever come to such a sordid end. They could not, even with the best lawyer, snatch their son from the hands of the law. His crime was too heinous and the evidences too clear to be concealed.
.
As she sat there, shame and sorrow washed over her. She felt like she was stripped of everything that mattered in life. Right then, all the wealth she and her husband amassed over the years, meant nothing to her; now, she could give away everything to have her son back. But it was too late. This is not surprising. No woman whose child had derailed can have a true sense of fulfilment.
.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Magnus' journey to yhe courtroom did not just begin three months back as she believed. It began years ago when her son was a little tot, born the only male among four children, he was over indulged and spoilt. The common belief in their culture that sons are more important than daughters has aided in the over pampering of the boy, their only boy. They provided everything that he wanted. When negative reports began to come from his teachers at school, they made excuses for their child and blamed the teachers. Once when he was suspended from school for a gross misconduct, his parents were so annoyed with the management that they transfered him to another school. He grew up a proud, self-centred bully. Infact, he thought the world revolved around him. It is no wonder that as soon as he got into higher institution, he joined a bad gang.
.
Mrs. Magnus would be shocked if someone were to tell her that she contributed to the plight of her child, infactm that she led him by the hand into the prison cell. She, like many mothers today, trifle with the art of motherhood. They do not handle child training with the seriousness it deserves
.
The way you are training that child now, what do you think will be the end result? You allow him to do as he likes and goes wherever he pleases, always believing that this is the modern time, the jet age when children should be 'free'. Did God not give you the sacred task of nurturing this child for him? The child, whether male or female is not yours, you are only a caretaker. Mothers are not exclusively responsible for child training but they do have tremendous influence on their children.

LIVING FOR FULFILMENT - He who will attain the incredible must attempt the impossible

He who will attain the incredible must attempt the impossible. Shoot for the moon; even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

.
Have you ever paused to ask yourself the all-important questions: Who am I? What am I doing here? And, Where do I go from here? In his simple statement, Jesus answered all three statements with the confidence of a man who knew that he had a date to keep with God. Jesus knew he was not an accident of birth - do you? Jesus knew his whole life was to fulfill a divine purpose; a divine destiny, but do you? Do you thank God for who he has made you? Or, are you forever wishing you were another person? [''To this end was I born'' - John 18: 37]. God made you a unique creature with a unique personality and unique potentials for some specific purposes.

Ida Scudder was only a teenager, a missionary's daughter in India, when she had to face the question of life. In one single dreadful night, she witnessed how one and another Indian man approached her home and sought her help (not her father's who was a medical doctor) for the life of their dying wives. Each of them flatly refused male help, because of cultural taboos. ''Alone in her room, Ida wrestled with the pain, the sorrow, and the rising conviction that if she were a trained doctor, she could have done something. 'But there is nothing I can do', Ida said. 'Nothing? With three women dying less than a mile away for want of a woman doctor? With millions more...?' She struggled with the voice of God all through the night. In the morning, she sent to inquire after the welfare of all three young women, they were all dead! Ida felt she could die. She fell down before God, then rose up and announced to her father and mother, 'I'm going to America to study to be a doctor so I can come back to help the women of India.' Conviction rang in her voice, she had answered one of those questions of life - the purpose of her existence. Around 1900, Dr. Ida Scudder did go back to India where she lived, served and died in her late eighties. As she neared the end of her busy life, Dorothy Clarke Wilson interviewed her to write her biography. Mrs. Wilson asked, 'Seeing all this and remembering how it started, don't you feel a great satisfaction?' 'Oh, yes, yes,' she replied fervently, 'God has been very good to me. God called me, and God knows best how and where a life should be spent.'
.
Think about that: God knows best how and where a life should be spent
.
Mary Crowley lost her job because her Christian beliefs conflicted with those of her employers. That was in 1957 when the great depression was on. After the initial shock, she rose up, armed with simple faith and grim determination to start her own company where ''I could set the standards I wanted upheld,'' she said. She eventually made multimillion dollar sales and employed several thousand staff. Quoting her words, ''See yourself as an achiever, a queen/king. Reject the idea that you are handicapped in any way. Imagine yourself as a co-worker with God. Expect that great things are going to happen, and then work to bring them about. Two ten-letter words can change your life: 'If it is to be, it is up to me'.''

THE ILL LUCK OF IMPATIENCE - Impatience damages blessing!

''For how long will you remain like this? All your mates and colleagues at work have male children who will corner their daddy's estate. Remember, heaven helps those who help themselves. I've told you of the new man that came to settle at the end of the second lane to your house. People say he is very good at the job. Why not give it a trial?'' Those were the words of Mrs. Adviser, a friend to Mrs. Patience.
.
.
Actually, it was not the first time Mrs. Adviser will talk to Mrs. Patience like this but Mrs. Patience never gave a thought to such things; she was a christian and was satisfied that God was in control of her life. This time however, Mrs. Adviser's usual suggestion seemed to be getting some Attention from Mrs. Patience.
.
Mrs. Patience had been married for seven years but has had only girl-children. Now she was beginning to interpret every friendly overture as a veiled ridicule. She became sour to live with and decided that to die was better than to live. Of recent, she had not been consistent in her church but went from one 'miracle ministry' to another looking for a male child. Often she regretted going in the end because these miracle ministries generally promised well; to start with, but after a while introduced some gimmicks, she knew and had been taught in her church were wrong. Each had one thing or the other to add or to emphasize, apart from the name of Jesus.
.
Well, what does it matter anymore? Where she gets the man-child is the best, she thought. Mrs. Adviser's suggestion appeared good. So, she went there , to the man at the end of the second lane to her house. The man gave her some fetish medicine and insisted that these will only work if he lies carnally with her. She refused but took the medicine which became a source of pain and discomfort to her stomach. She had to undergo surgery and it was discovered a three months baby boy was forming in her. The foetus was there before she took the juju man's medicine which killed the foetus and affected her womb. The prayer now is no more for the child but how to survive the serious damage of her womb and her whole system. Impatience damages blessing!

WHAT A MOTHER TOLD HER SON A DAY BEFORE HIS WEDDING - Now let me talk to you about Sex

Mummy’s boy, you are now a man. Tomorrow you will have a new mother, a new cook and a new person to share all your secrets with. It will no longer be me but her. Love your new mum even more than you love me. Before you walk into her arms forever, let me give you some words to guide you.
.
.
There was a day I was arguing with your father. We were screaming, Tempers were high. I was angry and He was angry. Then I called him an idiot! He was shocked, He looked at me asking how dare I call him that; I immediately started calling him idiot, fool, stupid, crazy. I called him all sort of names. Guess what he did? He didn’t raise his hands to hit me. He just walked away, banging the door as he went out.
.
My Son, If your father had hit me and destroyed my eyes, how will you feel sitting here with me today? How will you regard him as your father? Would you have been proud of him or would you be blaming me for calling him names? Never hit your wife! No matter the provocation just walk away and things will be normal. Whenever she offends you, think of this story I just told you, it could have been your mum!
.
Before I forget, after he left, I was filled with guilt. We slept on same bed that night and I went to him the next day. I pleaded with him; I did all I could to show him how sorry I was and he forgave me. That day I cooked his favourite food, yes you know he loves Pounded yam & Vegetable soup right? After that day, I never called him names, my respect for him was even stronger.
.
There is something very important you must always do, my son listen very carefully, defend your wife. When she is under pressure, stand by her. If your friends hate her, it is your duty to make them see her as a Queen. Your Uncle, I mean Uncle Yusuf, never liked me but your father was always supportive until his perception changed.
.
There was a day your Father was going to host the owner of his company and friends. They were three of them. That day I was in the kitchen cooking for them and your father went to buy drinks. When the table was set and food was served. Everyone started eating. Then I remembered I did not add salt in the food. I was embarrassed. Your father tasted the food and looked at me. He immediately turned to the guests. He told them that he instructed his wife last month not to add salt whenever she is cooking because of some problem with his body. He said it in a funny way and everyone laughed! The guests understood and he asked me to bring salt and everyone added according to their taste. He managed to eat the food without salt. After the guest left, he went on his knees and asked God to forgive him for lying.
Your wife is like a baby, sometimes she won’t know what to say or do. Stand up and speak for her!.
.
Now let me talk to you about Sex. You see SEX is a wonderful thing. Do not be surprised if your wife enjoy and need Sex more than you do. There were days, I needed Sex more than your father and there were days he needed it more than me but the important thing is to always try to satisfy the other when they need you. Don’t always think of your self.
.
There was a time things were hard and I needed to do two jobs to support your father. One night I was so tired. When I got to bed he was in the mood. He tried to make love to me and I didn’t refuse him. I was tired but I felt I needed to be there when he needed me. When he tried undressing me, he saw my look and he stopped. He asked what was wrong and I said nothing. But he understood me better. He stopped and then started telling me stories until I fell asleep.
.
My son, Sex is best enjoyed when the two parties are physically and mentally ready for it. Sometimes, read your wife and understand her. Make it a habit to go anywhere with your wife. Besides your job, move around with her. If anyone invite you to his house and told you not to come with your wife then be very careful. Use wisdom.
.
I know you love mummy; I know you tell me all your problems. But now things will be different. Let your wife be the first to know before me. Let her be the first to see before me. When you have problems with her don’t run to me immediately. Wait for a day to pass and then talk to her about it. Pray about it. Report her to nobody but talk issues out between yourselves.
.
Finally, don’t forget to come and visit me with your wife every month! I know you will have a happy home. You will always be mummy’s boy and God will bless your home. Please don't forget God, pray & seek His assistance always.

TAKE AWAY THE MASK - This attitude is like a mask, hiding the real person.

Little Joe sat on the sofa unusually very moody since he came back from the Johnson's', three days ago, where he spent part of holidays; he found his home environment very strange. Strange because all he was confronted with were harshness, bullying here and there, complaints and threats. These, he was able to combine before now found it unbearable after his welcoming experience with the Johnson's where he was lavished with love and tender care.
.
.
His frustration heightened and was aggravated by the fact that his mother who claimed to be a Christian presented two faces; a loving tender mother when dealing with outsiders, but a harsh, hard and impatient mother when dealing with her family members. As Joe brooded over this, his whole being longed for the kind of warmth and Peace that characterized the Johnson's. Regrettably, he saw this as a mirage in his own family home. "But why!" he muttered, "we go to church regularly like the Johnson's. Why are my parents not like them?" This situation in young Joe's life continued unnoticed by his parents, who remained loveless in their unkind treatment towards the children.
.
One afternoon, as the parents left for the day's work, Joe packed his bag and baggage back to the Johnson's. The Johnsons who were not in anyway expecting him were taken aback. They however gave him a warm reception. After dinner, as Joe intimated them with his situation and agitations, he implored them to help instill in his parents those godly virtues that characterized the Johnsons. During their family altar, the Johnsons in very clear language explained to Joe the secret and source of their happiness and conduct. He was led to Christ and that memorable night, Joe embraced Christ as his Lord and saviour.
.
Meanwhile at home, when his parents cane back to find him gone, they were panic stricken. Still in their perplexity, the phone rang. Both parents sprang up at the same time to answer the call. They were greatly relieved to hear from Mrs Johnson who informed them of Joe's safety in their arms and also invited them for a dinner chat. This meeting became a forum for Joe's happiness at home today. His entire family through the Johnson's welcomed Christ into their lives. Now, with Christ as the head of the home, young Joe's dream was fulfilled.
.
The case of Joe can be described as a universal problem found in many homes today. Many Parents often have two faces. At home, with their children, they are harsh, serious, unloving and authoritative. When found with outsiders or with other children, they appear more humane, tender, kind, patient, courteous and loving towards them. This attitude is like a mask, hiding the real person. Parents are admonished to remove it and be at home what they are outside.

TALK THROUGH AND WALK THROUGH - each partner is willing to take the time to talk through and walk through

A common expectation of young couples is the assumption that any present idiosyncrasies or weaknesses of a spouse can easily be changed after the "I DOs". The only person you can change is yourself, your partner may also change over the years but not by coercing or threatening.
.
.
The imperfections which are evident before marriage will become more noticeable after marriage. However, when each partner is willing to take the time to talk through and walk through those imperfections in character, beliefs and attitudes, change is possible.
.
Daily communication will lay the foundation upon which to build a solid healthy relationship. Everyone recognizes the need to water his lawn everyday during summer. One day without water will not kill a lawn, but withhold water for several days and you'll turn a beautiful green lawn into a barren clump of dirt. Likewise, when you water your marriage with words of love, encouragement and humour, that marital union will never dry up. Instead, it will prepare that relationship to become like fertile soil in which seeds of faithfulness can be sown to produce a fruitful marriage.
.
The marriage that bears fruit is one which eliminates the option pf divorce. The individuals take their vow seriously when they really take each other for better for worse. They don't demand that the other person does all the changing. They don't demand perfection from their mates. Despite the problems, the hurts, the tears and tensions, they remain committed to one another.
.

HE MAKES ME FRUITFUL AND FOOD-FILLED - To defeat satan the boxer, Christ wed me with a ring

He was born as Joseph's son to hit the nail on the head;
That son of the carpenter, na him make me hammer,
I blow like time bomb; he blessed me right on time;
This one pass greenade; He dey blow my mind away
.
.
To defeat satan the boxer, Christ wed me with a ring;
Christ's free airtime of love is what I breathe in per seconds,
Just like decimals, God has made my life on point;
Trained me like an athlete now my life's on track
.
Doctor that keeps me patient in his flow seasoned with thyme;
This patience attracts goodluck; just make Christ your president,
I call him great farmer; gifts me fruits of the Spirit;
He isn't economist; makes me fruitful and food-filled
.
Being my producer, he now directs my life;
I act in the Spirit 'cos my life's a movie,
Despite the devil's drama, the spite no make me 'cast';
Despite satan the rival, Baba God drives me like a boss
.
I'm a fan of Christ, he turned my life around;
My big boss no dey tire to keep the goodies rolling,
He's God's first sun that always keeps me shining;
His plane of love plainly keeps me elevated.

WORKING GRACE - keeps me walking in grace

The reason I don't sway but stay in God's way each day
Isn't because I pray everyday not to go astray,
Set on fire in God's tower with power to stand each hour
By a working grace that keeps me walking in grace
.
.
The drive of my passion is alive to confusion
But through supplication, I bring it to submission
Under the subjection of the God of creation;
This working grace keeps me walking in grace
.
Now, all I desire is the will of the messiah,
I'll never retire but refire in his fire,
That's the reason why I'm always soaring higher
And higher than I try 'cos God's my sanctifier
.
Approached by Jesus Christ who has cured my reproach,
The power of his promise brought about my release,
Oh, yeah! released to experience real ease;
Satisfied and fortified; beautified and glorified.

YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

There are two days in every week that we should not worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
.
One is yesterday with its mistakes and cares. Its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single word we’ve said. Yesterday is gone.
.
The other day we shouldn’t worry about is tomorrow. Tomorrow is beyond our control. Tomorrow’s sun will rise either in splendor, or behind a mask of clouds but it will rise. And until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.
.
This leaves only one day. Today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad, it is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.

.
.
Here’s what God says about yesterday:
.
“…forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.” (Phil.3:13)
.
“Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past.” (Isaiah 43:18)

Here’s what God says about tomorrow:

.
Here’s what God says about today:

"MY WIFE, I AM SORRY" - relationship zone

He woke up in the morning and found her praying. He heard her praying for him.He stared at her. It has been a long time since he has seen her praying. For the past few months, they have been arguing. Last night, they had a nasty fight.He went downstairs in a hurry to prepare himself breakfast. These past days, she hasn't been cooking for him. Shock on him; he found breakfast already set at the table. He ate. He went back to the bedroom, to prepare for a shower. She left the shower. "Good morning. Have a blessed day" she said as she entertained the bedroom and he left for the bathroom.
.

.
After his shower, all dressed up for work, he found his wife at the kitchen, eating breakfast in peace. She was looking at some funny videos on her phone and giggling. He looked at her then walked out the door. The last look he had of her before he left was of her at peace. That last look disturbed him. This is not how she should be. This is not how she has been. He has been hurting her, she has recently found out that he has been flirting with other women, he has cheated once and used money meant for their family on other women. She should be angry. Her peaceful demeanor disturbed him.
.
Evening came. He went home and met his peaceful wife again. She was cooking and laughing with their children. She had come from work two hours ago.The dinner was enjoyable. Good food, she having warm conversations with the children. He as the father felt left out. His wife and children seemed to be having fun despite him hurting them. After dinner, as she washed the dishes and the children had gone to bed. He approached her. "Are you OK?" he asked her. "I am more than OK. I am blessed "She answered. "Are you not mad at me? After all that I am doing and have done wrong?" he asked. She placed the washed plate in the rack then looked at him and said, "I asked myself, what is the most important relationship in my life? The one I have with you or the one with God? And I realized it is the one with God.
.
I live for God, not for you. Marrying you was a blessing but it is not all there is in life. God has blessed me with life and I will not waste it crying because of the hurt you cause me to feel "She picked up a dirty glass and began washing it. "I realized I had given you too much power... Yes, you are my husband, the closest human being in my life and the human being I love the most; but you are not God. You have failed me but God never fails me. I will not let you ruin my joy, my peace and my progress. You break our marriage if you want to, but I will hold on to God. And as I hold on to God, I will be full of joy despite what you do "She said rinsing the glass. She looked at him and continued, "When you hurt me and disrespected me, I realized I was acting out like a woman who has no Jesus. I got mad and hurled insults, I wanted to revenge and I allowed you to mess me day after day. My performance at work went down, I talked less to our children, I became bitter to the children, I felt sorry for myself, I developed ulcers. And then I realized, I have God, I shouldn't act like someone with no relationship with God. Why should I be hopeless yet God is with me? I had focused so much on you that I forgot about God. When you found me, I had God. We dated and got married and I let everything be about you because I wanted to make our marriage work. Our marriage became the idol I worship instead of the blessing I have in God. Our marriage is failing apart because of you but my relationship with God is still intact "She scrubbed the sufuria. "You have chosen to abandon our marriage but that doesn't mean my whole world has collapsed. I will still continue being a good mother to our children. They will never say the problems between mom and dad, made mom a monster. You do as you please with other women, I will raise our children. "
.
She looked at him and told him, "Do I hate you? No, it will be a lie to say I hate you. You are the man I married, the one I vowed to; the one I love "Tears fell down her cheeks. She wiped them. "I can't just cancel all the years we've been together. The Bible asks us to love our enemies. If I am able to love my enemies, surely I can still love you despite all you have done. I am angry and disappointed, but I have taken my power back. I live for God who has exceedingly blessed me, not for you and the pain you cause "She wiped her wet hands, took the apron from her body and told him, "In my peace, I am planning on where the children and I will move to. Since you have chosen to have an affair, you have shown clearly that you don't need us. So we will not make your life uncomfortable by forcing you to live with us. You need to be able to bring the woman you are cheating with to your own house. I am working on something. I came into this house in peace and I will leave in peace. You will not kill my smile and shine "She walked to the bedroom. Minutes later. He followed her to the bedroom. He found her peacefully asleep.He nudged her. He woke her up and said, "Please don't go, don't move out. I will hurt you no more, I will cheat no more. I am not OK. I want the peace you have. I want to be the kind of husband and you are as a wife. "Since that day, he has been a reformed man. No more affairs, no more hurting her, no flirting with other women, or endless fights. She didn't move out. She and the children stayed. He submitted to God and learnt how to be a good husband, Love is powerful enough to humble the most proud heart.

IN THE LORRY OF GRACE - To make you content with his glory

Sweeter than cherry berry
Yet not tales of the fairy;
Christ really did burry
Your past ill story
.
.
Changed the content of your diary
To make you content with his glory;
You doubted him in a hurry?
All you need say is, "I'm sorry"
.
There's no need to worry,
He shields you from Satan's furry;
As you wait on him and tarry,
He'll make your heart merry
.
Let him marry you as dearie
And he'll spice you more than curry;
Christ's sore stained injury
Is meant to put you in grace's lorry.

COVERED IN GOD'S GLORIOUS MIST - You'll be a miracle at least

The Pharisee's leavening yeast
Can't punch you with its dark fist;
Prevailing truth insists
That your problems can't persist
.
.
Make up your prayer list;
And whatever it consists
Will became flesh and exist,
Since Christ is your high priest
.
That's why people will gist
Of God blessing you and feast;
You'll be a miracle at least
Covered in God's glorious mist
.
North to South, West to East;
As though time's on God's wrist,
Always on time to assist
In conquering the beast.

CHRIST THE REASON FOR THE SEASON IS RISEN AND MISSING FROM THE TOMB

The God of grace is leading this race,
Backing up my story with the power of his glory
I'm with Jesus; got the power by the cross,
I've got his nature which is the counting factor
.
.
What a privilege to have his divine knowledge,
Got divine charity through his perfect ability,
I remain diligent as the Lord's own sergeant;
Never negligent of his word that's salient
.
I come to rememberance of his very endurance,
I'm a faithful witness of God's powerful fullness;
Enjoy his power shower in his tower every hour,
He spilled his blood because I spilled my milk
.
Unveiled mystery in history of outstanding victory
Changing man's story from misery to glory,
Divinity kingdom paid for humanity's freedom;
It's so awesome beyond what we can fathom
.
This in essence is the reason for the season;
The season he was risen; risen and was missing;
Missing from the grave; found no more in the cave
Ruptured the tomb of death to create a womb for life.

THIS HONOUR WITH DISHONOUR - disregarding God's scriptures

This honour with dishonour
Of sealed vals with silvers
Odours from old doors
Making dogs go back to go bark
.
.
Unbelievers on believers
To approach reproach
And hands in sales of love;
Stop enhancing love for sale
.
Unseen blind in the fold,
Sin is the blind fold
The stolen stole in secret
Sin's wages to secrete
.
Willfully left the serene scene
For seemingly sweet sin
Disregarding God's scriptures
About the unseen future
.
World system seized them to see them
As herd without heads
Through measured responsibility
With response ability.

TOXIC RHEMA

When the Rhema is toxic
It still looks fantastic;
You can't conform to the word
And simultaneously with the world
.
.
What's the testimony
About you by many
What they think of you
What they say you do
.
A divine relationship
Sweetness of fellowship
Not just a connection;
Unmatched by disobedient action
.
It's as such
That people come to church
Knowing God's word
But haven't experienced God
.
Yes! Repented
Now divinely connected
But experiential knowledge
Is what gives you the edge
.
Yes! Heard the gospel
Just like other people
But this unique encounter
Is what makes you a star
.
The rhema on the inside
Is what sets you aside
Not just the echoes
Of multiple Logos

Beyond the skies through grace that never dies
.

Been translated from this world; I dwell in God's word,
Yea, princes pull riches; God's principles enriches
.
I'm the next in line to claim what is mine,
I don't do 4-1-9 except Philippians 4-1-9,
Which is the best business; even God is my witness;
A deal of his fullness; living life in greatness
.
Jehovah over-do waits not till overdue,
To bless you with breakthrough and good success too,
Philippians 4: 19; that one na hin thing;
I don't lack a thing; Christ is my everything

A brand new day each morning with riches never mourning,

HERE AND THERE - as you tick through the sphere of time unbroken

Right about now, I'm gonna take it slow,
To release breads of thoughts that jam the soul,
A pause on my mind not just for show
But to search the purse of my mind for words that glow
As though a traffic saying y'hello has made it so
.
.
Eagerly wait for words unspoken
As you tick through the sphere of time unbroken,
Rhyming the word play; it's time the world plays,
To feel the weight of spoken words;
Only what matters should occupy love's space
.
Yeah, check! Like signing of cheques,
As for the figures, my mates can see and check,
'Twill be really thrilling like, check mates,
Buying the clothings and styled in big checks,
Wise words from sages will put us in checks
.
The fact you're 'here' now doesn't mean you won't get 'There',
Both are just a 'T' away from the other,
'T' is for time 'cos life is in order,
When 'God is good' is your motto, He'd drive you like a boss;
Things working for your good; so intentional.

LAW OF LIFE - real happiness

When a newspaper reporter interviewed a farmer who grew Award-Winning Corn each year he entered his corn in the state fair, it was revealed that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbours. Perplexed, the reporter asked, “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbours when they are entering their corn in competition with yours each year?”
.
.
The farmer smiled and explained, “The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbours grow inferior corn, Cross-Pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbours grow good corn.”
.
So it is with our lives. Those who want to live meaningfully and well, must help enrich the lives of others. For the value of a life, is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy, must help others find happiness; the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.
Call it power of collectivity. Call it a principle of success. Call it a law of life. The fact remains, “None of us truly wins, until we all win.”
.
Know this secret as you grow older! In life, when you help the people around you to be good, you surely become the best. Always bear in mind that "Real happiness is helping others". And that’s the greatest commandment.

BLESSED IS HE WHOM GOD HELPS

Long time ago there lived a great king and two beggars who always stood at the gate of his palace everyday. As the king rode by everyday, the 1st beggar would say 'blessed is he whom the king helps' while the 2nd beggar would say 'blessed is he whom God helps'.
.
.
The king always felt pleased to hear the praise of the 1st beggar. One evening the king decided to reward the 1st beggar for all the praise; he ordered his baker to bake a cake and wrapped gold inside the cake. The next day as he rode by, he gave the cake to the 1st beggar as he hailed him as usual.
.
The 1st beggar who was in dire need of cash sold the cake to the 2nd beggar at a cheap price. When the 2nd beggar cut open the cake he saw the gold, sold them and became a wealthy man. He did not return back to the kings gate the next day.
.
As the king rode out of his palace the next day, he saw the 1st beggar still begging for money and stopped to ask him if he ate the cake he gave him. The 1st beggar replied and said no sir, I sold it to my friend who was here with me yesterday; I have not seen him today. The king shook his head highly disappointed and confessed silently to himself, " Indeed, Blessed is he Who God helps"
.
Our God is the all knowing God, HE has not forgotten you. God always does His work just in time. Trust God rather than man.

DON'T GIVE UP BUT STEP UP

Disappointing failures, the aches and the pain,
You hope they go away but they resurface again,
Bouts of depression hindering elevation,
Taking your eyes off the past will make you recover fast
.
.
God's mercies are new every morning, says the word;
So wake up each morning, to a brand new world,
I can do all things without ever halting,
Through Christ that strengthens me; his strength is in me
.
The times you are confused, draw knowledge from scriptures,
Times when scared, have faith in God for the future,
Replace those thoughts with what the word has taught,
No Pro misses target on promises focused on
.
Yesterday is gone; do what needs be done today,
For tomorrow yet unborn will be birth on today,
Don't back down if you fall, all you do is get up,
Don't give up but step up; don't back out but press in.

DIVINELY CONFIGURED - grace configured

Eve brought the call to me; I didn't charge her stop,
Life bar went flat by a tree a bit to dead,
My blood was the bill you covered with a ram,
A damned in the morning set free by Christ at eve
.
.
I left God's micro-chips and took a bite of the cheap;
I'm talking the apple presented to my laptop,
Made my memory full enough to make me crash;
Only Christ can make you neat; not your processing unit
.
Satan used his monitor to screenshot my progress,
Tried to chop me like microchips like sacrificial ram,
He tried to bite me but God beat his key buds,
With Uninterrupted power supply from the throne of grace
.
His kiss of love locked my bad luck in grace,
My poor pose transformed through his purpose that blaze,
Devil still sell baits to those that run the wrong race,
With the evil to bathe the souls of men in disgrace
.
The old serpent still paints souls with his sour paints,
Tries to block the sweet oranges of grace from all ranges,
And angles that make try angles of self righteous efforts vain;
Never believe in luck but Christ's kiss of grace.

THE VALIANT STOIC - The leaves dance on as true love lives

The blind I see are the reason I scream;
They create lies as blindfold to use as eyes-cream;
The deceptive sweetness they think is ice-cream
Until they are iced in the depth of its lies and cold
.
 .
As Love’s reign rained on the heart of Ruth,
She accepted the pain found on truth’s route;
A true creation of love with real square roots;
Such genuine beauty is what thrills the trees
.
The leaves dance on as true love lives
But they dry up as this love leaves;
The veins of love within the dry leaves
Without love’s flow in them is vain
.
The trees murmured as leaves whispered
As the protected and cunning little wisp erred
Because of truth we speared and the lies we spared;
Unlike the valiant stoic that stands the storm
.
Wisps that enjoy the lies that lies in Lie’s porn
Till the Truth becomes, the messed age of the pawn,
This isn’t from a mere sage just to wordplay for pun
So I hope we thought the truth that was taught in the message.

PEACE LIKE STILL WATERS IS WHAT STILL MATTERS

Peace like still waters is what still matters;
It stills the troubling matters that try to steal your calm,
Sways you out of harm’s way in a rhythm that weighs
Enough to get you to the scene where hope is always seen
.
 .
As the wind breezes in, the horizon hurries on,
The atmosphere’s been taught to always refresh nature;
My heart’s most fair thoughts are refreshed by its nurture,
Nature with no poor pose; such nurture with purpose
.
What a scene of harmony where nature is this united,
Unlike the human race that spends her money disunited;
So when no one got your back, make sure you got your back;
Forward match, no turning back; even trees got their bark
.
Branches dance in threes as ripple sounds thrill the trees;
The leaves wave in response to the waves of the ocean,
Though the wild were ever green, there’ll still be streams to ford;
All the same my grin is wide; a smile all can afford,
.
Though nature grids in love, man is in love with greed;
Man may stab you in the back; Stand strong and don’t fall back
Trees with roots don’t fear the storm; all they do is shake and dance;
Stormy clouds poor down rain; storms you face can make you reign.

THE JOY OF THE LORD - a very real force; Neh 8: 10

They say it's not by force but a powerful force;
More than warm feelings; far from ill feelings,
Joy is strength; it strengthens your faith,
Strenghth is joy; the joy of glorious fate
.

.
Tap it from the Spirit; powerful force meant for us,
You can tap it from the word to work with strength in this world;
Devil can't stand Joy, though seemed to close the doors of Job;
When God wants to make you strong; uses Joy to do the job
.
What happens next may put an end to the happiness of now;
Present when things go well and absent when in the well,
But Joy's not fleeting emotions; it's a state of mind;
Circumstance discourages but you don't really mind
.
Joy is very crucial and not superficial,
No matter the circumstance, you need joy every instance,
Confess and live by joy to enjoy all its power,
It activates living by faith effortlessly every hour
.
Joy is a fruit; yes! Fruit of the spirit,
Resides in you but you must develop it,
Joy makes you strong in the Lord and in the power of his might,
Joy in the Holy Ghost; strength to win every fight.

THE FABLE OF PORCUPINE - get inspired

It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions.
.

.
After a while, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice; either to accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learnt to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth and heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.
.
The best group is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities. Better to be surrounded by warm pokes than be frozen in solitude.
